Stowe Yacht Club hosted the CanAm Regatta. It was the first time since 2019, as COVID stopped border crossing in early 2020.  We held the first day of racing on Saturday with 21 Soling1M sailboats completing 9 races with Odd & Even heats in each race. Due to a lack of wind, we delayed starting for over an hour.

Over the two days, we raced the  boats completing a total of 22 races. The races split into odd even groups keeping the total boats on the water limited to smaller groups. There were hardly any collisions, but a few troubles seemed to affect a couple of boats. Saturday and Sunday's weather was full of sunshine, light winds with blue skies and temperatures in the upper 70s and low 80s.

Don Ouimette finished the regatta in 1st place with 22 points and 11 bullets out of the 22 races. He was followed closely by Jim Goddard with 25 points and 6 bullets. The complete summary follows.
